Finally I've decided to release the library, just before my holidays! I've done many improvements and fixed many bugs, but the library is far to be complete. At this time is fully usable, I've tested with many sample applications and it works quiet well, please test and report problems you may encounter. Here is a brief summary of what you are getting with this version: ScuiLib 0.5 Beta ---------------- Author: Fabio Falcucci aka Allanon Release Date: 25.07.2008 Requirements: Hoolywood 3.1 Contact: hijoe (at) tin.it Website: sdb.freeforums.org (suggestions & comments are welcome!) *** DESCRIPTION *** ScuiLib is a library for Hollywood aimed to help programmers to build interfaces for their application. *** CONTENTS *** ScuiLib.hws Main Scui library FilezLib.hws Support library for file operations Defaults_Standard.hws Default preferences and default theme definition 12 Tutorials 1 Demonstration program ScuiLib_Guide.guide Amigaguide document ScuiLib_Reference.guide Amigaguide document Currently supported classes: - BevelBox - Label - Button - Switch - StringBox - Options - Gauge - Scroller - Cycle - Tabs - Listview - FWin (Simulated Windows) - Layout (Basic layout system) *** KNOWN PROBLEMS *** - FWin Actually the fake windows system is a little tricky but works quiet well, if you try to update a gadget that belong to a window covered by another one the gadget will be popped up. In the next version this problem will be fixed At first window opening the system will save the background to a temporary file to load it as a brush so it can be slow. This will be fixed when Hollywood will have a command to save a portion of screen directly into a brush (AFAIK in the next release). Sorry but I have to lock the thread: too much spam!
